Tethys Petroleum Limited is pleased to announce that, with effect from 06 July 2015, Ozodkhon Davlatshoev will join Tethys as Director of the Representative Office of Tethys Tajikistan Limited in Tajikistan.
Ozodkhon has a strong background in Middle Eastern Studies with a BA in the subject, a BSc in Economics and an MBA (UK) and brings extensive strategic and project experience to the Company’s operations in Tajikistan. Ozodkhon will join Tethys from the Industrial Promotion Services/Aga Khan Fund for Economic Development in Central Asia, where he has been working since 2006 and responsible for the development and execution of high profile investment projects in Central Asia in the fields of Energy, Telecommunications, Banking and Industrials. In addition, he remains Honorary Consul of Sweden in Tajikistan and on the Board of the Central Eurasian Leadership Alliance.
In his new role, Ozodkhon will be responsible for liaising on behalf of Tethys’ with local government authorities and international organizations, co-ordinating with Bokhtar PSC partners’ representatives’ in Tajikistan, representing Kulob Petroleum Limited as an alternative member both to the Operating Committee and Coordination Committee under the Bokthar PSC, monitoring political, economic and security matters in-country and analysing future business opportunities in the region.
