Oil & Gas Uzbekistan (OGU) – 2011

May 17, 2011

Location: Tashkent, Uzbekistan

OGU is the premier oil and gas trade event in Uzbekistan. The event is an annual meeting place for the regional and Uzbekistani oil and gas industry, and a hub for global industry leaders to meet and do business. The Government’s drive for sustained growth in the sector assisted by reforms to attract foreign investors, means that there are numerous commercial opportunities for suppliers to the industry from around the world. The conference traditionally receives the support of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan, and the Center for Political Studies. The event annually attracts around 500 senior representatives from the local and international oil and gas community, including official national delegations. The event highlights new opportunities for international cooperation in the development of oil, gas and energy projects in the entire Central Asian region, and provides a forum for the industry to get together, meet and discuss the latest issues affecting oil and gas operation within the country.
